The Merton Park Area for Rental Property

South West London is very green, we have parks that are fabulous and gardens that help with our green scene. They tempt many renters to come and live here. We have ornamental Gardens as well. We have great state schools including the well thought of Merton park primary, besides this school there are two others state schools. Also on board we have Church lane playing fields, Glebe Fields and Old Rutlisians Sports grounds.

In our area there is a lovely church. It is the Anglican Church called St Marys. In the heart of the conservation area is where you will find the church. This is to the South of Wimbledon area. There has been a church in this place since the time of the Domesday Book.

The Augustinian Canons founded the Merton Priory and our very own Anglican Church. In the last century they added two aisles to the church as the population grew. The roof dates from the 1400s, the roof of the nave is nearly 900 years old. There has been a church on this site since before the Domesday Book.

The Merton Park area is great. It has great houses and flats, not as pricey as nearby Wimbledon. There are parks, schools, amenities, an award winning garden and great destinations are here.
