Watching "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" at length makes me appreciate just how much thought is put into the various characters. I will be able to watch just about any show that involves action and drama; if there aren't personalities that I can invest myself in, will those elements actually work in the long run? One of the characters of this show, John Connor, is one of the main entities and he has a personality that could come in handy with a business debt collection agency. If you're inquisitive, I have my reasons.
Connor is definitely different from the people he surrounds himself with and I think you have to chalk that up to his hesitance to kill. Many of the other characters seem to have little problem in doing so, though it probably goes without saying seeing as how Terminators walk among them. Each of them seem to want Connor destroyed, which places a rightfully heavy burden on him. However, as much as he is targeted, being a killer is not a personality trait in his system.
What sets Connor apart from his comrades, though, is the mindset of a hero. For example, he always seems to play up to his intelligence more so than any brute force, which is the main feature Cameron - the Terminator on his side - turns to without a second thought. He's able to take apart the deactivated Terminators, which are complicated machines, to say the least. He may be able to defend himself if need be but he only puts cognition to use, at least nine times out of ten.
It's apparent that Connor is intelligent, so don't you think that he would be able to work within a business debt collection company well? Agencies such as Rapid Recovery are able to operate very well and I think you can chalk it up to the experience they have. They also contain strong mental capacities, being able to work under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act very well. With so many details to consider in this regard, I think that understanding this collection process can be as simple, to him, as learning about machines.
If you're talking about the one character in the show that could be called the voice of reason, it's probably best to look at John Connor. Between Terminators who are set to kill and people with their own mentalities all over the place, Connor is a refreshing change of pace. In my eyes, he would be the worker most ideal for going into the business debt collection industry. Any agency which operates in this regard would make use of Connor's intelligence, a great amount for someone so young.
