Moving to California's scenic Alameda County is sure to be an adventure. This culturally diverse area is filled with exciting cities and plenty to see and do. Alameda County is home to more than 1.5 million Californians and its county seat, Oakland, is the largest city with more than 300,000 residents. Alameda County has three major league sports team. It's also one of the wealthiest cities in the country. Nearby Livermore is known for its many vineyards and wineries, and many are open for tastings and tours throughout the year.
